Dejha Colantuono first established her presence as a musical tour de force in the burgeoning Northwest rock scene of the nineties. Born in New York City to Jazz musicians, Dejha is a skilled songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, but her most arresting talent is her remarkable voice, both raw and uplifting. With influences as diverse as David Bowie, Prince, the Kills and PJ Harvey, Dejha has inspired national music communities and notable musicians for the better part of the last 25 years, and has become an icon in her own right.
She has fronted many notable bands, started a music management company, has recorded, produced and guest starred on many albums, and has performed all over the world–and she is only just getting started. Currently Dejha resides in Brooklyn, New York, and is voraciously creating new music and performing solo and in several musical projects, including an upcoming new album to be released in early spring 2020.
