Marietta Grant stage name MISS. Gis a Chicago native whose single greatest passion is singing. She currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas. Marietta has been a singer-songwriter since 2010, producing R&B soul music that makes listeners want to dance. Besides pursuing her musical talent, Marietta also has her daytime job working at USPS. Marietta is incredibly grateful for the life she has been given and hopes to open a shelter one day to help other
Q: First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Marietta Grant stage name MISS.G passion for music started back in 2010 I began to write poetry when I noticed I had a special gift I began to write more and form lyrics into a song my craft was improving I discovered my talent was music
Q: What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
Keep focusing on your craft your passion is a gift never give up keep going
Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?
It can be stressful at first after focusing on what you wanna write about life pain or happiness
suddenly everything comes together creating music is fun and exciting
Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?
Very easy because I can be working or doing other business activities music just comes to mind
I also record on my phone. when lyrics started flowing through my mind
