We are sharing our recent interview with a talented singer
Jaraiyia Alize.
Celebs Fans: Who or what inspired you to pursue a career in music and who or what have been the most important influences on your musical life and career?
Jaraiyia Alize: What inspired me to pursue my career in music is my daughter. I´ve always known that I wanted a career in music, but through the years I slightly lost hope. I was lost. After giving birth, I knew that I would tell my daughter to never give up on her dreams. I have to lead by example.
Celebs Fans: What have been the greatest challenges of your career so far?
Jaraiyia Alize: The greatest challenges of my career thus far have been patience. All good things take time.
Celebs Fans: Which performance/recordings are you most proud of?
Jaraiyia Alize: The performance I am most proud of was about 3 years ago. I performed at what used to be an annual event hosted by a club I was a member of at Northern Illinois University, Black Theaters Workshop. The name of the event was Sex on the Menu. In regards to recordings, I am amazed every time that I step out of the studio lol
Celebs Fans: What do you do off stage that provides inspiration on stage?
Jaraiyia Alize: What provides inspiration on stage is truly Queen Bey. My favorite live performance of Beyonce´ is her performance at Wynn Las Vegas. This performance has inspired me everyday for the past 12 years.
Celebs Fans: What do you feel needs to be done to grow music audiences/listeners?
Jaraiyia Alize: I feel like to grow music audiences/ listeners, you must make yourself relatable. We all have differences, but we relate so much more.
Celebs Fans: As a musician, what is your definition of success?
Jaraiyia Alize: As a musician, my definition of success is when you have touched the heart of others, and you have motivated them to be their better self.
Celebs Fans: What do you consider to be the most important ideas and concepts to impart to aspiring musicians?
Jaraiyia Alize: Always be yourself, always remain humble, and always be open to listen.
