The Godfada aka Daquarius Lett hiphop artist from Columbus Ga. Fada started rapping in 1st grade with his group The Bad Kids inspired by Bad Boys from there he never stopped. Fada started getting even more serious by age 14 using a mp3 player and a psp to record music in the early ages.
In 2014 Fada met rapper Jmurda and recorded his fist few singles and a ep. By 2015 Fada was reaching the top 10 charts on reverbnation for Columbus Ga. He has recently released a album Finally Awoke and a new single. Fada has been signed by his own label Mousiki Ent.
Q: First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
My career started when people in my high school started rapping I was a dancer i actually quit rap. I tried free styling lol and it went from their I started to get in the studio do remixes on youtube. Then I started buying equipment we bought a lot of cheap stuff. Then we started thinking about getting on big sites So I released my first mixtape on sc then worked my way to iTunes.
Q: What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
The advice I would give is you might suck at first a lot like I did but its not about making money it is about music if it is your passion go for it you will improve with time like I did.
Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?
It is very exciting its like going into a new space where nobody can bother you. It can become stressful if you rush it.
Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?
Melodies, and songs come easy to me I always have a topic if i hear a beat I will play that melody in my head for weeks.
Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
My motto is never let anybody become between you, and your money.
Q: What is you favorite song to belt out at the bar/in the car right now?
My favorite song is YG Big Bank
Q :What are your future goals as a music artist?
My main goal is to be able to perform in front of a 1000 people
Q: What was your most memorable performance to date?
OMG I was in korea and I had to perform a song in front of a lot of people they were so drunk they were dancing lol
