Q: First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
I started writing lyrics to Dance music in Oct 2008 and went to Open Mic Nights. I recorded the songs professionally and many people liked them. So I wrote many more songs and went to more Open Mic Nights in 2009. Then my music quest got more serious when I auditioned for America’s Got Talent in 2010 and was on an episode that aired in June 2010. After that, I wrote and recorded more songs and participated in local showcases.
Q: What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
Look at the future success. Quitting will only lead to deep regret.
Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?
It’s more exciting because I have songs prepared a year in advance so it’s much easier for album creations.
Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?
The theme of the song makes it easier. If the song will be Dance, Romance, Goth, or Christian.
Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
Put God first in all things. Have a “What would Jesus do?” mentality.
Q: What is you favorite song to belt out at the bar/in the car right now?
Many Britney Spears songs! “Sugar Fall”, “Perfect Lover”, “Break The Ice” and “Toxic”
Q :What are your future goals as a music artist?
To perform at major clubs and EDM Music Festivals
Q: What was your most memorable performance to date?
When I performed at a Coffee House open mic in Jan 2009! It was a full house of people (about 70) and I got to perform my own songs and got major positive reactions.
