Latest Interview With Multi Talented Dancer and Instructor Chokito

Chokito is a dancer and instructor who specializes in Afrocuban, Rumba Cubana , Son, Reggaeton and Salsa. His creative style and energy has attracted a wide audience of keen dancers and supporters.

Residing in the UK, Chokito’s passion in music inspired him to study Urban dance. Whilst perfecting his craft he has had dancing experience in other parts of the world, including Cuba and Spain.

Q:Tell us about yourself.

i am a dancer living in the united kingdom
Q: How do you ensure you stay strong and fit enough to perform?

I make sure i eat the right foods most of the time and exercise and stretch a lot .

Q; What’s your greatest strength as a dancer?

My biggest strength would be passion for what i do.


Q:Have you ever forgotten the dance steps during a performance? What happened?

yes that has happened to me before but can freestyle to make it not look noticiable


Q: What are the most important traits a dancer should have?

Confidence and energy


Q:How would you describe your personal style of dance?

My style is a mixture of salsa, reggaeton, rumba, hiphop.


Q:When performing, do you prefer to be in a group or solo?

i enjoy both but i would say solo a bit more.


Q:What do you think is the most important skill for a dancer to ha
ve?

Confidence again, technique and feeling the music
