Q: First of all, tell us about the start of your professional musical career?
I moved from Brussels to London a few years ago to try to find a record label on the UK music scene. I first started playing in bars all around town before participating to a singer-songwriter contest, Open Mic Uk. This gave me the opportunity to meet A&R from different labels and I got signed to the indie label, Last Ten. I’ve been working on my debut album since and just released my debut single “Holding Back.”
Q: What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
It’s a learning curve, never forget why you starting this journey and enjoy all the lessons along the way. Music bonds us all. Practice and perseverance are key!
Q:When do you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?
You know when the time is right.For some it’s the single after single, for other, you focus on an album. It’s always exciting! The thought of being in the studio, to create something that will touch many is a reward in itself.
Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?
I write all the time. Lyrics come and go. Sometimes it hits me when I’m walking in the streets, listen to some music, watch a movie. Sometimes it doesn’t come at all and you just got to let go and rest until inspiration comes to you again.
Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
Go where you are celebrated, not tolerated. Life is too short to waste time on illusions and fake relationships.
Q: What is you favourite song to belt out at the bar/in the car right now?

I’m excited to release my debut album “Tough Journey” next year followed by a piano album. I would also love to collaborate more on film scores!
Q :What are your future goals as a music artist?
I played at one of the oldest music venues in Belgium, L’Ancienne Belgique. It’s an iconic concert hall in the heart of Brussels where I was born and where I saw my favourite artists growing up. It was a honour to be invited to play there.
